T-shore partners have wrapped up another impactful Train the Trainer session — this time hosted by Scalda and World Class Maintenance at the KAAP innovation hub in Vlissingen, Zeeland.
Over three days, local experts, teachers, and visiting partners tested and fine-tuned four of T-shore’s harmonised education scenarios:
- Gearbox Maintenance
- Yaw Motor Diagnostics
- Sensor Technology
- Bolt Tightening
Each group rotated through all four scenarios, ensuring shared learning and practical hands-on training for educators who will deliver this content to the next generation of offshore wind technicians.
Participants also had the opportunity to train directly inside a Vestas V66 Nacelle, and for the first time in the Netherlands, test sensor technology and bolt tightening modules live.
Educational lead Gerben Huiszoon summarised:
“Training four scenarios in rotation, using a real Vestas nacelle, and testing bolt tightening and sensor tech here in the Netherlands for the first time — these are big steps for T-shore. Add in the boat tour with students and teachers, and it was a fantastic learning exchange all round.”
