Offshore (Wind) Energy experience in Eemshaven

To support the growing offshore wind sector in the Northern Netherlands, T-shore CoVE partner Noorderpoort and regional stakeholders are launching a four-part Introduction Course on Offshore (Wind) Energyβ€”starting this May in Eemshaven.

The course is designed to introduce students, professionals, career changers, and interested citizens to the world of offshore energy through hands-on sessions, expert presentations, and site visits.

  • 15 May – Offshore logistics (Buss Terminal Eemshaven)
  • 12 June – Cable technology (TKF Eemshaven)
  • 25 September – From wind to battery/hydrogen (Nijlicht Eemshaven)
  • 30 October – Wind turbine maintenance & diploma ceremony (EMC Delfzijl)

Participants will learn about:

  • The logistics of building offshore wind farms
  • Advanced cabling and grid technology
  • Energy storage innovations using hydrogen and batteries
  • Wind turbine operations and maintenance

This programme showcases how Eemshaven is developing as a regional hub for offshore wind learning and employment. The course is offered free of charge, with limited places available.
