A Successful, T-shore Centre of Vocational of Excellence for Offshore Wind Ireland Industry Information Session

We are delighted to report on the successful completion of the T-Shore Industry Information Session, which took place on 3rd May at the Clayton Hotel Burlington Road. This session was an integral part of the WEI Offshore Conference, aimed at facilitating collaboration among key Irish stakeholders in the offshore wind industry.  The morning of the conference began with an announcement by Eamon Ryan of  the Irish DMAPs, setting the stage for a day focused on future developments in offshore wind energy

Session Highlights:

  • Project Updates: Representatives from WEI and ATU provided the latest updates on the progress and achievements of the T-Shore project.
  • International Collaboration: Frank Emil from the Norwegian CoVE shared valuable insights into their operations, emphasising the collaborative opportunities for the Irish CoVE.
  • Feasibility Study Insights: Robert highlighted key findings from his feasibility study into the development of a CoVE in Ireland, outlining strategic implications and potential pathways.
  • Open Forum: Daire led a vibrant discussion, presenting the roadmap for establishing the Irish CoVE and detailing planned activities over the next two years.

Looking Ahead: The insights and discussions had during this session have enhanced the reach and impact of the T-Shore project in Ireland. We extend our gratitude to all participants for their contributions and look forward to continuing our collaboration.
